Above and amidst clouds, a girl by the name of Olivia spends her days dreaming of a world in which she can freely move between the tall grass of the ground. Stuck in Nimbus Valley, a land populated by small critters that keep her company, she can only sigh and look below through small gaps in the clouds, mourning.
Olivia was born with a condition called "Melancholic heart", which prevents her from feeling happiness and joy, confined in her own gloom. The only remedy are "Daydreams" that, in the shape of clouds, can free her heart from melancholy.
Although she's bound to Nimbus Valley, Olivia and her friends, a shark named Dominique and a falling star fragment named Lumi, are actively searching for ways to let her feel the softness of grass, the fresh smell of the sea, and many other joys that the ground has to offer.
