"A pest, a nuisance that only knows how to bother others, laugh in their face, trick them and cause chaos. If i were Him, i'd already have him fired". This is what Mr. Nightmare always responds when asked about Misery.
Indeed, as the youngest nightmare there is, his bratty and troublesome behaviour certainly are amongst the first things one notices, but the young nightmare is far worse than that. Misery finds amusement in what brings disadvantage to others, which inevitably brings him into conflicts from which he flees without a single scratch. One of his favorite hobbies is taunting the common people before taking their dreams, with the help of his "little friend" on his back.
He sees adults like Mr. Nightmare as extremely boring, and has only one aquaintance he can somewhat stand until now.
